Darshana and Manuel, Indian Wedding in Florence

Darshana is one of the best bride-planners that I have ever met. Coordinating her super chic wedding in Florence was such an amazing experience. The ceremony took place at the Westin Excelsior Hotel, in the very heart of Florence, a gorgeous renaissance building facing over Piazza Ognissanti and the Arno river.
The mandap for the Indian ceremony was covered in wonderful white hortensias and fabrics. Many guests coming from all over the world welcomed the groom when he arrived, aboard a fantastic Bentley. He was announced by a dhol player.
The bride made her entrance in the ceremony room surprising everyone with her beauty, wearing a white and golden dress.
After the hindu ceremony, the newly wedded couple invited their guests to have tea along with Indian specialties. The reception then went on at the Hotel Villa Cora, one of the most luxurious in Florence. Darshana wore an incredible dress by Jenny Packham, finely embroidered.
After a nice cocktail in the garden, accompanied by dances in Bollywood style, the dinner was held in the wonderful rooms of the hotel.
